Mozambique Fashion Week Summer 2009

I must say this experience was amazinI i met plenty of people on this trip not to mention having a show on a moving train at the Mozambique train station was quite wicked!
Alothough the scorching sun was hitting my east african forhead hard, the tours we went on were 100% refreshing and Meeting the first lady was a BIG plus!

Guest appearances from Little Bow Wow was interesting, all the young girls were super excited smile

Backstage was hectic as always and i admit i am addicted to the rush!

The afterparties where good too. Africans sure know how to party hard. Zouk mixed with a little commerical music equal sweat beads for days.

Here are the pictures from the show.

I really like the designs, what I like the most is that they are original, for an african designer these days, you are required to stick with the “afro trend”, with the typical colour scheme and use of fabric etc but in this case the designs dont follow that…elements are present but the garments look really chic. thanks again for coming to talk to us at UJ, you were a big inspiration and congrats on an awesome show smile
